Data policy

This describes what Kefi collects, why, and what happens to it. The catalogue can be browsed without an account.

Your e-mail — you type it yourself at sign-in, and a one-time code is sent to it. We send no other mail: there are no newsletters, no announcements, no promotions.

Name, city, phone number and messenger handle — you enter them in your profile. Name and city are visible to other users. The phone number and messengers are shown only to a buyer who opened the contact on your listing.

Listings, buying requests, and records of who exchanged contacts with whom.

The IP address a sign-in code was requested from, used to rate-limit the form so it cannot be turned into a mailing tool.

We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising.

We do not buy or import address lists. An address reaches us only when a person enters it on the site.

We do not collect payment details — there are no payments on the platform.

Sign-in codes are delivered by an external email provider, which receives the recipient address and the message.

The site and database are hosted by providers processing data on our behalf.

Two cookies of our own: a session identifier after sign-in, and the chosen interface language. No advertising cookies, and no data is sold to anyone.

Traffic is measured by Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies and sees which pages were opened, from what device and from which country. It receives no name, phone or address: the counter does not know who you are, and we do not link its data to your account.

You can switch it off with the Google Analytics Opt-out extension or your browser's Do Not Track setting — the site works either way.

Sign-in codes are deleted after five minutes or immediately once used. Other data is kept while the account exists.

To delete your account and its data, write to hello@kefi.pro from the address the account is registered to.
